Dansk: ‘Rota’
2 master skonnert bygget af maler Ove Andersen, Slagelse i 1990 Solgt til bekendt til 40 års fødselsdagsgave. I skibet er der lagt en 20 krone, der er præget ved Dronning Margrethes 50 års fødselsdag. Mønten er lavet af medaljør Jan Petersen. ’Rota’ var en 95 NRT bramsejlsskonnert, bygget af Rasmus Møller i 1874/75 til et partsrederi i Faaborg. Den 1. februar 1883 blev Rota solgt tll A/S Grønafelag i Akureyri på Island, hvor den var hjemmehørende til 1886. Året efter forliste ’Rota’ med hele besætningen på en rejse fra Lissabon til Varberg. |
